Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) is going to organize the Hong Kong Software Quality Assurance (HKSQA) Conference on 27 April 2011 in the Lecture Theatre, HKPC Building. With the positive feedback from the participants attending the HKSQA Conference in the past years, we consider an annual event with the focus to promote the importance of Software Quality Assurance and to assist software companies to understand different aspects of software engineering necessary. The HKSAR government has announced "Testing and Certification" as one of the six industries in Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Council for Testing and Certification has identified that ICT is one of the "emerging trades that may have potentials for further exploration in the testing and certification areas". The conference this year will provide insights and forum of discussion for us to explore these potentials. We shall invite experts from local and overseas to share their experience and knowledge in this area.
